This position main purpose is to ensure Coal Shipment in ITM Group is conducted according to target established by Management and prevailing shipment standard by planning, coordinating, supervising and evaluating shipment coordination activities.

Main Accountabilities :

• Barging and Transshipment
Ensure the availability of barging and transshipment service to move coal from F/C mine stock to out loading port or direct loading onto vessel to serve each coal shipment as sales plan, as well as manage third party port/ BCT contract in liaison with ITM mine sites.


• Vessel Loading Operations
Ensure vessel loading operation at BoCT, BCT/ Balikpapan Coal Terminal, Samarinda Anchorage, Adang Bay, and Jorong anchorage is conducted according to plan and procedure. At BoCT manage SDB performance and contract and associated barges for supplementary loading systems.


• Quality, Safety and Environment
QSE : Responsible to ensure compliance with job specific Marine Health, Safety & Environmental (MSHE) responsibilities, implementation of MSHE policies and procedures and enforcement of the same, to promote interdependent safety culture in all employees and contractors, Review all risk assessments/Aspects & Impact register on periodic basis and highlight those which are inadequate as per Risk Assessment/Environment Aspect & Impact procedure.


• Shipping Advisory
Provide technical, operational, and commercial advice or suggestion to solve problems related to waterways transport operation.


• Shipping Document
Ensure all shipping operation is supported by complete and correct shipping document.


Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in Nautical Study, Master Mariner, Magister Management
• 12 years or more in marine logistics, ship management & operations
• Having functional competences in : Maritime economic, Cargo handling, Shipping document, Maritime transport and logistics, Ship management and Negotiation technique


General Qualifications:
• Good command in English (verbal and written )
• Have analytical thinking, good work planning & management, good communication skill and good report writing skills.
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Able to work under pressure with tight schedule deadline
