Hydrogeologist
Position Description The Hydrogeologist report to Study
Manager, will be responsibility and performance of hydrogeology issues
with groundwater and surface water assessment and reporting so that
internal and regulator groundwater obligations are met. Perform
hydrogeologist analysis and study to assess mining operation all sites
condition, conduct hydrogeologist exploration effectively, and
environmental investigations for mining operations and projects to
ensure that all targets for safety, environment and production are
archived to operation.
Major Objective of The Position • Hydrogeologist study the
distribution, flow, and quality of groundwater involving interpreting
technical data and information to build a conceptual model of
groundwater flow and quality, designing and completing an investigation,
which may include environmental measurement and sampling or an ongoing
monitoring regime, in order to confirm or develop the model, and using
modelling techniques to enable predictions to be made about future
trends and impact on groundwater flow and quality; • Applying a
knowledge of fundamental geology to develop an understanding of how the
rock types and structure in an area impact on groundwater occurrence and
movement; • Understanding and interpreting maps, geographical
data, historical evidence and models to build up a picture of the
groundwater regime and/or land contamination, often based on incomplete
information; • Implemented technologies by computers an programs
to model groundwater flow, chemistry and temperature according to
geological formations, surface water flow and man-made influence; •
Undertaking environment impact assessments of groundwater abstraction
and management activities, analyzing collected information to assess and
predict the impact of activities such as landfills, construction
developments, mining or agriculture on groundwater quality and resource
availability; • Investigating technology improvements and providing
strategic direction to the business as to how and when new technologies
can be used; • Providing effective leadership to the hydrogeology team by setting clear expectations, provide feedback and coaching;
• The Hydrogeologist will provide hydrogeologist expertise within the
Mine Operation and Project Development team, including feasibility
studies, optimization studies, corporate governance reviews and
evaluations of new opportunities; • Contribute to the development of, and review, project trade-off studies; • Liaise with other personnel and consultants as required;
• When requested from time to time the Hydrogeologist will
deputies for the Study Manager when the latter is off site or as

on standard compliance; • The hydrogeologist are required to have a
sound knowledge of groundwater and surface water monitoring systems and
equipment, data management and analysis packages/systems as well as an
understanding of groundwater investigation programs; • Provide high
level input to hydrogeological assessment in the developing groundwater
management solution, research and analysis to support groundwater
assessment and management that form part research mining operations and
projects for development of groundwater impact report; • Lead
groundwater modelling activities for operating and greenfield sites to
support dewatering and water supply planning, environmental assessments,
water balance modelling and technical studies; • Supervision, training, and guidance of Hydrogeologists within the Study Group of Kencana Minerals;
• Liaising with the mine and exploration geology, mine
survey, geotechnical, mine operations, mine engineer, consultants
and project engineering personnel to ensure optimum coordination of
functions; • Assisting with the preparation of hydrogeology budgets for the mine for yearly and Life of Mine (LoM) plans; • Deputize for the Study Manager in periods where required; • Implementation and evaluation of new technologies for net benefit to Study Group as a whole; and • Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge to the all workforce.

Position Description The Geotechnical Engineer report to Study
Manager, will be responsibility and performance of geotechnical or
geological assignments at various field locations associated with
particular mining operations and projects. Perform geotechnical
analysis and study to assess mining operation all sites condition,
conduct geotechnical exploration effectively, and environmental
investigations for mining operations and projects to ensure that all
targets for safety, environment and production are archived to
operation.
Major Objective of The Position • Take an active role in the
business development of the company services and in particular the
mining geotechnical engineering service; • Technical support the
development and implementation of business and strategic plans for the
geotechnical aspect within mine operations of Kencana Minerals; •
Ensuring that process, systems and resources are in place to collect
data, interpret and build the geotechnical models for each mining area.
• Provision of technical services of geotechnical assessment for
Pit Designs, Waste Dump designs and other designs as
required , providing inputs to the designs and other considerations
which are to be assimilated into the planning process; •
Investigating technology improvements and providing strategic direction

Position Description The Mine Engineer report to Study
Manager, will be responsibility for evaluating, improving and supporting
mine operation team, processing team, systems and standards at Kencana
Minerals operations and projects to ensure that all targets for safety,
environment and production are archived for the operation.
Major Objective of The Position • Effective provision technical support of plans and schedules to aid and maximize mining opportunities; • Provision of technical services for Pit Designs, Waste Dump designs and other designs as required; • Provision of medium to long term schedules as well as the preparation of Annual Budget and Life of Mine Plans;
• Evaluation and assessment of life of mine schedule
scenarios in ongoing basis in order to determine the best
mining sequences and financial outcome depending on market and
company conditions; • The Mine Engineer will also be responsible
for development work associated with evaluation of other
potential deposits; • Review of mine optimizations and sensitivity
analysis, detailed pit design and development of production planning
and scheduling, design and scheduling using best practice mine planning
techniques; • Provide technical support in order to finalize,
update or develop pit designs mine, roads design, waste dump design
and other related designs as required; • Contribute to the development of, and review, project trade-off studies; • Liaise with other personnel and consultants as required;
